When talking about better or even utopian futures, dreamers and idealists often paint a picture of cultures of diversity and inclusivity, where no one is left behind.

But when talking about current challenges in reality, there are a lot of people to blame – and suddenly, the path towards such an inclusive society seems rather exclusive. There’s a disconnect between how to treat people in the future, and how to treat them now. Is there a way to reconcile them?

This was the question we asked ourselves when forming the „Future Collective Of Trust“ – a small group of artivists, who wanted to bring a small utopian moment into our present.

We realized that the pathway to better futures will inevitably be paved with people making mistakes. But society needs to find a way to deal with them, without ostracizing them, otherwise there is no real progress happening.
This is where we looked into the past for inspiration.
